( little random detailsCollapse )
I did well, if I do say so myself.
*pats own back*
You all know I'm my own worst critic, so you're in shock right now, right? ha ha.
The only thing I would have changed is that I started out singing it straight, then got into character and added the Cockney accent... LOL. He must've been like "what?" (Now that I think about it in a positive way -- maybe he could have taken note that I could do it both ways. "She's versatile," he'll say, and cast me in a great role... right? hee hee hee).
I wanted to make sure the actual notes were coming out right before I worried about acting the role. Being on key is more important to me than being playful.
The bummer is, callbacks are in like late April/early May. As in, you have to await a phone call in late April to KNOW if you got a callback.
I've never had that happen before. Usually, they say "we'll see you back (insert when here)" or they say no, or "try again next year" or something along those lines.
Well, I'll hang in and await a call. I'm guessing they don't call if they don't want to see you again, seeing as thousands of people try out (the auditions are here, L.A., New York, and Chicago), and they'd be on the phone for a year... LOL!
I'm also assuming my chances aren't fabu, given how many cities they're seeing people in, and how experienced a lot them are - but we'll see.
At any rate, it was fun, and I did my best. :)
